The USTA Pro Circuit announces an increase in prize money as the 2017 Red Rock Pro Open moves up to a $60,000 women’s challenger event. On top of that the tournament dates have been moved up a couple of weeks and will now be held September 10-17th, 2017, immediately following the US Open. With the increase in prize money there is talk of more players ranked within the top 100 competing in the singles main draw this year. “This tournament has always been one of the most competitive Pro Circuit events for its level and with all the exciting changes this year we can’t wait to see what is in store for 2017”, says Tournament Director Mike Copenhaver. “We expect the hype from the US Open to carry over into our event with as we kick off our singles qualifying draw over the finals weekend of America’s Grand Slam. As always qualifying rounds are FREE to attend through Monday September 11th. Ticket sales start as low as $5 during the week and $10-$20 over the weekend.
